Sawgrass Technologies Earns International Accolades.
Company recognized for digital imaging innovations and environmentally friendly products.
Charleston, SC – July 30, 2008 – Sawgrass Technologies, a global leader in the development of on-demand digital imaging technologies, was recently honored by two European printing industry trade organizations for its printing innovations and environmentally friendly products. FESPA Digital recognized Sawgrass twice as a top leader in Innovative Products and Planet Friendliness and the Protextile Digital 2008 Conference recently held in Spain named Sawgrass as the Most Ecological Company, based on Sawgrass’ M ink product.
FESPA Digital (Federation of European Screenprinters Associations) is an organizer of the world’s leading screenprinting and digital imaging exhibitions. A special committee of industry and environmental professionals awarded recognition to companies whose innovation and environmental specifications were viewed as having the highest impact and significance to the industry. Protextile Digital, a European tradeshow of the Digital Textile and Promotional Industry recently held in Barcelona, Spain, covers the textile industry. “We are thrilled to be honored by these prestigious organizations,” said Nathan Hale, President and CEO of Sawgrass. “Sawgrass is committed to quality and innovation in the digital imaging industry and these designations are a direct reflection of those goals.”
Sawgrass has developed water-based inks for the digital imaging industry, including sublimation inks, that create vibrant, photographic, custom images on a wide variety of substrates.
